a list for friday: my top posts of 2012

Remember that last post when I mentioned this year’s elevated stress levels were likely to mean I’d be getting pretty sick sometime soon? Just a day later I succumbed to the flu for the first time in over a decade. I’m on the other side of it—the fever is gone and I’m only coughing up one of my lungs now—but my general puniness plus the beginning of a new year made it seem like the perfect time to slow down and look back.

I don’t know if these are the “best of” for 2012, but they’re the posts that got the most hits or generated the most conversation. Check out the ones you missed—and think about getting a flu shot.
